An inspiring evening at baraka HQ

Peter Gould exhibition @ baraka HQ
November 26th 2010

Our work space is truly beautiful. The architecture, the designer clothing, jewellery and coffee space are things we love being surrounded by. But nothing is more inspiring to us than our walls. Yes, that’s right! To the baraka team, our walls are our exhibition space. It’s where we can exhibit the work of the most talented of artists, of people who move us. It was a magical night at Baraka HQ when the said artist was “Peter Gould”.

Late last year we had the pleasure of hosting Peter. The night started at 6.30pm and those that came were awe inspired to say the least. After a quick dinner we were treated to walking around the space with Peter to discuss each of his works, his inspiration and results.

Black and white images of his travels around the Islamic world filled the space and are strikingly captured along with his further interpretation of graphic art and colour. Each with its message and reason for being.

It was a wonderful night that we feel exceptionally privileged to have hosted. Peter’s work is still currently showing at baraka HQ, so don’t miss out on viewing a masters work.

baraka HQ will continue to host exceptional and creative work of local and international artists @ 138 Georges River rd, Croydon Park NSW 2133 – Ph: 612 9797 2684
